My hometown was obliterated by this disaster and am so thankful Gov Cooper is able to work with a fully functional government to get some relief into these mountainous areas many of which are accessible by small, mountain roads. Even interstate access is spotty right now. So many are without power, water or internet access. It blows my mind that there are so many needing help would vote for trump all over again.
I have been following the disaster in North Carolina closely, a friend of mine has a time share in Holden Beach. I'm especially horrified by the situation in Ashville. I'm very grateful that Governor Roy Cooper is in office - without a Democrat in office North Carolina would suffer for decades. Stay strong and stay positive!
