Trump should not be certified because in order for an insurrectionist (of which he was found guilty) to be ‘forgiven’ for being in violation of the 14th amendment and therefore be allowed to the Office of the President, Congress must vote to breach the Constitution and make an exception for Trump. Congress has done no such thing. Therefore, he cannot be certified as President.
