Elizabeth Warren Slams 'Coward' Elon Musk on Meidas

The Republican plan is simple—billionaires win, everybody else loses. Watch our interview with Senator Elizabeth Warren here on the Meidas+ Substack.

Senator Elizabeth Warren doesn’t mince words, and in her first appearance on the MeidasTouch Network, she laid out exactly what’s at stake in the Republican budget plan: massive tax cuts for billionaires, paid for by gutting healthcare, education, and essential services for working people.

As Warren put it, the GOP’s budget blueprint might as well have a bumper sticker that reads “Billionaires Win, Everyone Else Loses.” The House Republicans passed a budget that slashes Medicaid, threatens funding for community health centers, and adds $19 trillion to the deficit over the next decade—all so they can hand out $4.5 trillion in tax cuts to the ultra-rich. And it’s not just rhetoric—this is their plan.

Want proof? Warren told an infuriating story straight from the Senate floor. Democrats introduced amendments to stop tax cuts for people making over $10 million a year—Republicans voted no. They tried to set the cutoff at $100 million—Republicans still said no. How about $500 million? Nope. One billion dollars? Republicans refused to say no to giving billionaires a tax break. They won’t even stop tax cuts for people making a billion dollars in a single year, but they’re more than happy to slash funding for kids with disabilities and seniors in nursing homes.

This is their vision: a government that serves billionaires and screws over everyone else.

And speaking of billionaires running the show, Warren also tore into Elon Musk’s attack on the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB)—the agency that protects everyday Americans from financial scams. The CFPB has returned over $21 billion to defrauded consumers by holding banks, payday lenders, and credit card companies accountable. So naturally, Musk and Trump’s goons want to kill it.

Musk even bragged about it, posting “CFPB RIP” on social media before Trump’s administration started illegally dismantling it. But when lawsuits and public outrage pushed back, they suddenly changed their tune, trying to gaslight the courts by claiming it was all just a “streamlining effort.”

Warren sees right through it. She’s calling out why Musk really wants to kill the CFPB—because he wants to launch his own financial platform, X Money, without regulations, without oversight, and without the “cop on the beat” to stop him from exploiting consumers. He’s not just dismantling an agency—he’s clearing the playing field for his next big grift.

And yet, Musk refuses to answer for any of it. Warren and Senate Democrats have tried to subpoena him, but Republicans keep shutting it down. So Warren had a direct message for Musk:

“Stop being such a coward. You say you’re for maximum transparency? Then get out of your bunker and answer some real questions.”

She knows exactly what’s happening—Musk has surrounded himself with bootlickers who won’t challenge him, living in a fantasy world where his only opposition is people dunking on him online. But the real world is watching, and they want answers.

This is what we’re up against—billionaires looting the country while Republicans sell off our future to fund their next yacht. The fight is here. The fight is now. And as Warren made clear, the best way to fight back is to spread the truth—because when Americans see what’s actually happening, they overwhelmingly reject it.
