In his latest political ad titled “A Place For Trump,” Congressman Eric Swalwell takes a comedic yet sharp dig at Donald Trump, depicting him as a declining, confused elderly figure in need of a nursing home. The ad humorously portrays Trump’s erratic statements and behavior, showing he is no longer fit for office. MeidasTouch has been granted exclusive rights to premiere this fearless and powerful ad.

The ad opens with a concerned woman’s narration, “We were so worried,” as Trump interjects with a wild claim: “They’re eating the dogs!” The woman continues, “He wasn’t making any sense,” followed by Trump bizarrely exclaiming, “The people come in. They’re eating the cats!”

As the ad continues, the woman sits down for a mea, with her husband and daughter, while Trump, at the table starts ranting: “They did dumps! That’s what they call them. Dumps. Big, massive dumps.” The daughter, disgusted, responds with a simple, “Gross.” Trump then adds, “In Michigan and Pennsylvania. All over.” The woman, growing more exasperated, says, “We had to do something.”

The husband takes away Trump’s car keys, signaling a loss of trust in his judgment. He then leaves his hand outstretched, waiting for Trump to turn over one more thing. Trump pulls out classified documents from his suit jacket and hands them over—another jab at Trump’s controversies involving top-secret documents.

The wife says a friend told her about a nursing home called “A Place for Trump” where he could get the help he needed. As Trump is brought to the home, he mutters nonsensically, “Person. Woman. Man. Camera. TV,” as the wife explains, “Now he has round-the-clock support and can enjoy the things he loves, like eating cheeseburgers and rage posting at 3 a.m.”

The scene shifts to Trump in his new home being tended to by a nurse. As the nurse delivers his meal, he shouts: “I know windmills very much, and they’re driving the whales…I think a little batty,” to which a nurse calmly responds, “Sure.”

The ad closes with the wife delivering the punchline: “So this November, let’s vote to put him in ‘A Place for Trump,’ because we all know he belongs in a home. Just not this one,” as an image of the White House appears on screen.

The ad uses humor and sharp political commentary to underscore its central message: Trump’s erratic behavior and mental decline render him unfit for the presidency. By likening his actions to those of a confused elderly man who needs care, Eric Swalwell’s ad makes a powerful and memorable point heading into November.
