Exclusive: Sen. Adam Schiff Calls for Trump Admin Resignations Over Signal-Gate

Schiff rips into the Trump regime’s reckless handling of classified intel and calls for resignations over the Signal war plans leak during an exclusive interview on Meidas.

By Ben Meiselas

When I sat down with Senator Adam Schiff for the MeidasTouch Podcast, he immediately provided an explosive and blunt assessment of what may be the most reckless intelligence breach in modern history. His words? “It’s a massive f**k up.”

And he’s right.

We’re talking about senior officials—Trump’s handpicked national security goons—openly texting war plans, strike times, and classified target details over a commercial app, from unsecured phones, in foreign countries. One of them was apparently in the Kremlin while doing it. You can’t make this up. If it were a Tom Clancy novel, it’d be too stupid to be believable.

Schiff, who once chaired the House Intelligence Committee, laid out just how bad this is: not only did they compromise potential military missions and endanger U.S. pilots, but no one in the chat—neither the Vice President, the Defense Secretary, the CIA Director, nor the head of National Intelligence—said, “Hey, maybe we shouldn’t be texting war plans on Signal.”

That kind of negligence isn’t just incompetence—it’s arrogance. It’s the belief that they can do whatever they want, however recklessly, and never be held accountable.

And let’s be clear: Schiff isn’t dancing around it. On the MeidasTouch Podcast, he demanded resignations—Tulsi Gabbard, John Ratcliffe, the whole clown car of Trump loyalists involved. He’s calling out their hypocrisy too—these are the same people who screamed for years about Hillary Clinton’s emails. Now they’re literally doing what they falsely accused her of, but a thousand times worse.

We need to spread our message far and wide. Listen to and share my interview with Senator Schiff on the MeidasTouch Podcast on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.

Tulsi Gabbard tried to wiggle out of responsibility by claiming the info wasn’t technically classified. Schiff was having none of that: “If it wasn’t classified, it should have been.” Because anyone with a brain—and an ounce of integrity—knows you don’t text strike plans mid-mission and pretend it’s fine.

Even more deranged? The Trump regime is now blaming the reporter they accidentally invited into the group chat. I kid you not. And on Fox News, Trump’s National Security Advisor Mike Waltz tried to play it off like he just “entered the wrong number.” This isn’t a group chat for brunch plans—it was a live war room leaking sensitive operations. Schiff said it best: “Mike, you’re the loser. And frankly, the country loses when we have an incompetent bozo like you as National Security Advisor.”

And in a moment that could only happen in the Trumpverse, they’ve decided their solution is to… wait for it… put Elon Musk on the case.

I’m not joking. Schiff’s response? “The only good Musk could do is fire every one of these people.”

Because let’s not forget—these are the same MAGA elites who want us to believe they’re “draining the swamp” while handing over control of our federal government to billionaires, propaganda hacks, and unqualified loyalists who couldn’t pass a high school government class.

Schiff’s final message to the American people was as sobering as it was motivating: This isn’t a one-off. This is the norm under Trump. When you appoint people based on who flatters you on Fox News instead of who’s qualified, the result is a less safe America. A more dangerous world. And a regime so corrupted and insulated, it can’t even recognize its own catastrophic failures.
