Fox Interns Crying Over Meidas…Glorious Day!

You know it’s going to be an excellent day when Fox News interns are terrified to share the news with their bosses… You know the news… that Fox is, once again, losing to MeidasTouch in digital ratings.

I’m hearing the Fox interns were almost on the verge of tears after their bosses threw a tantrum when they learned the news. So good! Such a good morning.

I’m being slightly petty, aren’t I? Well, after how Fox spent all of yesterday defaming First Lady Jill Biden by suggesting she was physically attracted to Donald Trump at the Notre Dame Cathedral event, I feel like a little pettiness is justified today. Just a little, please?

So, here’s the deal:

Fox News has its interns track the Playboard YouTube charts, which rank YouTube channels by views and engagement. Fox specifically asks the interns to report back on their ratings versus ours. I know a few former interns who worked there and have shared their daily protocol for preparing these ratings reports.

Fox assumed that after the election, they would permanently take the lead over us. And, for the first two weeks post-election, they did. But then, we retook the lead.

Last week, Fox briefly retook the lead for 48 hours.

So, we responded by taking to Substack. We made a call to action here, and it worked. We asked all our Substack subscribers to refer the MeidasTouch Network to five people they know. And BAM! It worked!

MeidasTouch Network is now beating Fox once again in the latest Playboard chart. We also lead CNN and MSNBC—and it’s not even close.

I share these progress reports with you because you are our stakeholders.

I know so much of the news can feel like doom and gloom. Wins are important. Big wins are very important. This is a big win. You’re beating Fox, which brings in $14.92 billion a year!

You helped build this network that is beating Fox, making its interns cry, and causing its executives to throw fits. That’s major.
