I Hope We Made You Proud, Meidas Mighty…

When I finished my interview with President Biden at the White House this week, my first thought was: I hope I made the Meidas Mighty proud.

The opportunity to interview President Biden in the Roosevelt Room of the White House is an honor shared with this entire community. The reason this independent media network has grown bigger than corporate media, and why we were selected for this interview, is because of the unwavering support of the Meidas Mighty. I have no doubt about that.

I consider us a “people network” more than a “political media network.” Our passion lies in reporting on the human experience and fighting to help people, their families, and their communities live their best lives. Our mission is to empower “we the people” and resist the entrenchment of an oligarchy of billionaires.

What I appreciated most about the interview with President Biden was the chance to showcase a side of him the media has largely ignored in their “both sides” coverage. We got to see a compassionate and humble statesman who has consistently put his country and others above himself.

We saw a deeply thoughtful and reflective President who brought dignity and wisdom to the Oval Office. We didn’t interrupt him or try to score “gotcha questions,” but we did ask tough and thought-provoking questions. We didn’t make the story about ourselves, as so many news personalities tend to do these days.

I hope this is an interview that will be remembered in history for providing a portrait of a humble public servant who dedicated his life to service. I believe it will stand the test of time and serve as a stark contrast to “the other guy.”

Finally, I hope we made you proud by conducting an interview that brought dignity, respect, and civilized discourse to the table.
