I’m so proud that he is able to “afford” life without the NFL, but more proud that he will NOT ALLOW his vision to be clouded by the money he is not making! I recently listened to an interview where he discussed his daily fitness training…to be READY, if a call ever comes for him!!! That gives me goosebumps! What a Man❣️

Upon learning that Ben was on C Kaepernicks defense team, I knew a future home for me was MeidasTouch. The famous photo should be made into a monument located honorably.

I don't attend football games - too much gratuitous violence. But, if I did, I would take a knee during the National Anthem.

I will not bend a knee to Trump. But I will in defense of The Constitution and our Nation.

I encourage you to consider ways to resist Trump's Fascist takeover of America.

Turn your back on Trump and raise a fist to the air.

I’m not sure putting a fist anywhere is a good idea, but ignoring the orange man while not giving him any satisfaction of how small he is , that would affect him. His need for attention is so destructive, so ignoring his presence and letting him destroy himself seems to be the best move. He is damaged goods and I Hope Biden keeps showing him up. Teaching politics in grade school seems to be desperately needed. We need to stop him, no ideas on this end that are to harsh to express. I wish one of your legal scholars could figure out

How to have him removed before Jan3rd. He is mentally stunted, a criminal and there is something wrong with his ability to make a true statement. Thank you for always bringing us the news at all hours. Giving a large donor, Musk, government secrets Needs to stop. I would think that would be extremely dangerous, Musk scares me. Character is not bought with money and he is as childlike as man that bankrupts casinos. I would like my grandchildren to have all the wonders of this planet.

My baby is 43. And may grandkids are growing up so fast 5 and 11. Hopefully the winters of Alaska will keep them away from us.

There have been some calls for a general strike. Go to Womens March web site...they have actions happening. I think back to the 1968 Olympics when the athletes did the Black Power salute. It was a major moment in history when they put their fists into the air.

IHIPNEWS is great. The girls live in Oklahoma City and are hard core liberals. They give it to you straight about life in a red state that stands in 50th in many categories.

Channel fear into action........protests are great because the worry goes and you meet all kinds of people that have the same mission.........eliminate Orange Hitler once and for all

Thanks for sharing and reminding us. I cannot help to think back that this was the true beginning of cancel culture. I do have to say that admire C. Kaepernick (even though he kicked our butt as a Packer fan) for what he stood, what he lost, but mainly for keeping true to himself.

I had forgotten about this bit of history. I wrote a letter to the editor defending Kaepernick, saying that he was simply exercising a right that the anthem and flag stood for. Leave it to the Evil Moron to use it to bring out the worst in people.

“Leave it to the Evil Moron to use it to bring out the worst in people”. This is exactly what I don’t like about that “Evil Moron” because no matter if you agree or are against him, he brings the worst of people and it’s a constant battle I have with myself every time I have to think about that evil moron and the undeserved power he has in our lives and society now.

I always respected Kaepernick for his silent protest. I never understood how so many Americans would allow someone like trump to undermine their right to protest. The one that was disrespecting our rights as Americans was trump. I'll never understand that. My time of mourning our loss is over now. I have officially moved into the anger phase and am ready to fight. 🥷

I stated at the time on original Twitter that I saw Colin Kapernick as an American hero for what he did, and would come to be generally accepted as a hero by the American people, through time. Ben, for representing Colin, and for his momentous work through the Meidas Touch Network in its commitment to democracy, joins my personal list of heroes.

Thank you both, and all those committed to these causes, being democracy, and support for Colin and human rights.

Kaep is the reason I stopped watching football. After 50 years. Still have not watched a game and won't until Kaep plays again. All he ever wanted was to be a quarterback. Watch the Netflix doc.

There is no better time in America to "take a knee." I have to admit I didn't understand it at the time, but fully embrace it now. Those now kneeling before trump don't understand how dangerous it is and probably won't until they themselves are impacted by his fascism policies. I only hope people wake up before it's too late. I'm not sure how we resist when he is surrounding himself with those only beholden to him, that will nod yes. It is truly frightening.

Some people have to learn the hard way. The question now is how many times do they have to get smacked before they finally leave this 'abusive partner'.

We are quite literally watching Trump turn into a model of the dysfunctional family led by an absolutely destructive narcissist.

(Hint: the liberals are the black sheep now)

I believe that most of us will be called upon to show a new kind of courage and compassion in each of our lives and each of our communities….I do pray for this courage…and together I CAN FEEL THAT STRENGTH…and I am an 80 year-old woman and never thought I would see this DESTROYER and his crew

Thanks for giving Kudos to Kaepernick. I LOVE seeing people stand up for what they believe. My mom once told me the right thing is usually hard. I need to remind myself of that during these dark times.

This just shows more of who you truly are Ben. One of the good guys. I remember when Trump pulled that stunt. People do have amnesia that is why he was elected again. Fool me once shame on me but fool me twice shame on You. Now all the maga followers are (YOU). Wait and see what he will do to his so called followers

I’m proud to have been a supporter since Meidas Touch started. I listen to your podcasts, follow on tik tok and instagram. The group you have built is inspiring and will help us all get through the insanity we are facing. As a veteran, I am proud of Colin. We all need to take a stand.

I supported Kaepernick when he took his knee. Happens many days as a sign of respect. DJT will do something just as insane once he takes office. He wants to be king.
