Hi Meidas Mighty,
I don’t want to take up too much of your time on Thanksgiving, but I was sitting with my wife just now, and we felt it was the perfect moment to share the first photo of our baby daughter, Ximena Meiselas, with you all. So, here she is:
Ximena is 2 months old. Her favorite book is The Little Train That Could. Her favorite hobby is listening to her dad record videos. Her favorite song is the “Meidas Mighty” anthem by Tennessee Brando—or, at least, that’s what I think!
My wife’s name is Xochitl, which is of Aztec origin. We decided to name our daughter Ximena to honor my wife’s heritage.
Ximena has been the biggest blessing to our growing family, and I am so thrilled to share this special moment with you first, on Thanksgiving.
As always, please consider becoming a paid subscriber to the MeidasTouch Substack. With zero outside investors, this people-powered and family-run network continues to attract bigger audiences than all corporate media networks—including Fox.
Thank you for being part of our journey, and Happy Thanksgiving!
With gratitude,
Ben Meiselas

Nice work on the next generation, Ben. All the best to you, Xochitl and baby Ximena— and congrats to the whole family on a far superior use of the letter X than some creepy oligarch could ever imagine!
OMG, wook at those cheeks! So cuuuuute! May she have a very wonderful first Thanksgiving!!!
