The state of Pennsylvania has to enforce the laws. I know in New York state the Orthodox Jewish have similar issues with women's rights and poor educations coming from some of the ULTRA (unlikely to reach agreement) yeshiva's prehistoric viewpoints.
To most of us it looks like cultish Behavior, to them they think they're protecting Purity and respect to God. Keep growing organic food and waking up is the best I could hope for them.
