Mighty Meidas and Domination Dworkin give me hope. Sadly Trump ruined my week. My partner was fired from their civil service job focused on DEI.
I will keep undermining Trump from within the government to protect our sacred democracy: My partner and I are both career civil servants. One of us was just fired fro a DEI position. We will do everything we can to undermine Trump and protect our sacred democracy: https://democracydefender2025.substack.com/p/dei-public-servant-fired
When they discovered a downed German ME109 in a Russian forest.....still in good shape......they could not figure out what happened.........it was a mystery.
When restoration crews took the engine apart they found a rag in the fuel line.........
The final conclusion was a forced labourer who worked the assembly line sabotaged the plane..........History can and will repeat itself when fighting fascist/nazism.
Best to you and your partner. I'm so sorry but not surprised, and sure they will not be the only one. Try to keep each others' spirits up and know your Mighty family is always here for you. I have no family left and recently lost my dear husband, and our Mighty is my family now and they keep me going.

"Restoring merit based opportunity"?!!! Did I read that correctly? OK, if we're talking about that, let's take a look at his cabinet picks. Here, "merit" = degree of sucking up in Trumpese.
Daniel you are amazing. I got stuck on your posts as they are filled with so much vital information.
In your spare time, 😳, would you consider working with Ron? Here's why. I cannot keep up with the 8 podcasts I've subscribed to. There's simply just not enough time.
There is so much good information out there, consolidation would increase the efficacy of delivery.
Keeping abreast of the criminal enterprise has turned into a 14 hour, everyday update.
I have a cause: use charitable deductions to save the SSA retirement Trust Fund.
The default of Trust Funds is supposed to apex in 2033 due to the increase of birth rates of baby boomers. After 2033, birth rates of later generations flatten and the funds can be solvent.
Social Security is the greatest anti-poverty program in US history. Social Security protects workers, widow(er)s, orphans and disabled people and is a major investment for many of us. Donations can flatten the default curve, extending the apex.
Certainly that's one of the aims. The other far more reachable aim, barring the full strangulation of science through defunding, is to separate the average lay person from reliable information sources or make them too skeptical and uninformed/misinformed to receive it or understand it properly through the tools of superstition, demonization and conspiracies. Mission nearly accomplished. We will all need subscriptions to indy medical and scientific publications. I've been following Med Edge for about 6 years and it has been invaluable especially after trump's CDC shat the bed over COVID if one can sort through the medical and scientific language. Allowed me to steer clear of COVID for almost 5 years, Given my reaction to mild COVID I'd be a goner like my COVID denier brother nearly was in the Delta wave.
Good publications: JAMA, New England Journal of Medicine, Scientific American while they last. I used to follow medical twitter, very highly informative, before attack by the trolls then Musk stunk up the entire platform causing me to leave it permanently. We'll all need to step up our game. For now the federal workforce is a captured entity.
I've always wondered what happened when ***obviously advanced*** civilizations completely regressed to almost stone age conditions setting innovation back millennia but now I understand, we are in that regressive epoch now, heading to the new Dark Ages.

‘We have no fear calling Trump a convicted felon, fraud, sexual assaulter, criminal, business failure, and a pathetic excuse for a human.’
I think it’s important to add something like ‘police hating’ or ‘coupe-leading’ or ‘traitorous insurrectionist’. His blanket pardons of all J6 violent offenders including those trying to kill law enforcement should be mentioned every day. It can not be normalized or forgotten!
We must continue to expose Trump and his oligarchs! We must continue to attack him, and continue to work on getting him out of the White House, either by him volunteering, or by force, his choice!
Hi Ben! What a great morning read to have with my coffee (which was particularly good since I scrubbed out the coffeemaker yesterday). Those big fat 15 million numbers were delightful to see and brought a huge smile to my face.
The discrimination comments reminded me of how far we've tried to come. Decades, yes. Today I am elderly, sick and crippled. But decades ago I was strong and pretty healthy. And the new Armed Forces Reserve Center to be built in my town was (wheeeee!!!!) a government contract. So they had to have at least one (token) woman on that job. At the time I was married to a lazy ass that since he had a college degree, there was no job good enough for him, well, somebody had to go to work. I had applied for a job on a pipeline here and when that guy had enough people he passed some applications (including mine) to his friend who was in charge of that Armed Forces job. The guy called me in and to this day, I am proud to be the first and only female on that construction job. The boss was very happy with me and said he wished he had a few more like me. I said, "Dude, we're out here, plenty of us".
My point being, I've walked, I've sat, I've marched. And I've worked. I'm tired now but the spirit that drove me then is still in here. I don't expect to be here a whole lot longer but this spirit will be here until it leaves here with me. And I intend to use it, and share it with all of you until then. I am a warrior. And once a warrior, always a warrior. Stay strong, Mighty. I love you all.
OH sweetie if that was meant for me, thank you, but I'm nobody special. I just did what I could. When I got older I looked around to see what I could do and I worked as a poll greeter and observer, I was big on voting for everyone; I was a precinct chair for a few years and did my best to get others involved as I felt my health waning. But there are so many more so much more valuable than me: those who have run for office, all those in so many jobs who love our law as much as I do, and our servicepeople who love, protect, and fight and die for us. Those are the people I value and cherish. The pardoning and letting loose of those who attacked, wounded, and caused the deaths of (particularly) the Capitol Police, is incredibly wrong and unforgivable. As for that hypocrite, ask the F.O.P. what they think of him NOW?
maga gets crazier - MM gets stronger! I love it, and I am thrilled to contribute to the network making a difference. I gave every dollar that I could to the DNC throughout the campaign. I'm much happier to support the resistance movement by giving to the MTN where I can see progress each and every day. If you haven't done so yet, I hope you'll join us.

Trump should be declared clinically insane and removed from office in my humble opinion
Where are the gallows that were intended for Mike Pence????
Donable Lector will be facing crimes against humanity before the next 4 years are over.
1/ No vaccines for the next pandemic
2/ Climate change forest fires will be unstoppable and no aid from FEMA
3/ Starvation in the mass internment camps when Red state governors halt food shipments
.........the list is endless........
