Mike Lindell Wants a Summit with Joe & Mika

At this point, why not?

After Morning Joe hosts Joe Scarborough and Mike Brzeznski traveled to Mar-a-Lago to patch things up and “restart communications” with the man they often compared to Hitler, Mike Lindell wants a piece of the action.

Lindell wants to know where he goes to get his apology from Joe and Mika for all the things they have said about him over the years. After all, if they can let bygones be bygones with Trump, making things right with the MyPillow guy should be a piece of cake. His home in Minnesota may not be as spacious and gaudy as Mar-a-Lago, but I’m sure Mike will make it warm and welcoming.

Lindell went on Real America’s Voice with host John Fredericks this morning. Fredericks asked Mike what he thought about Joe and Mika’s trip to Palm Beach to kiss the ring:

Fredericks: “What do you think about the media shakeout? You look at MSNBC and CNN, their ratings have tanked since Trump won. In fact, they were so bad that I’m assuming the suits in the C Suite sent Joe and Mika down to kiss Trump’s ring at MAL. For 6 months they called him Hitler and everything else in the book, fascist. How do you think this ends up with them?

Lindell: “You’re exactly right. The two people you mentioned - Joe and Mika - they attacked me more than any other two journalists in history. It was relentless. The names they called me - they attacked MyPillow directly. I could have went after them with a defamation suit. But I just said the heck with them.”

Lindell then said that people on both sides have stopped watching cable news shows, and that many people on the right had to create alternate platforms, like Real America’s Voice, after so many of them were kicked off social media because of covid and election fraud conspiracies in 2020, and then J6. He claimed that alternative platforms is one big reason why their ratings have gone down over the years since 2016.

Maybe a summit between Lindell and Joe and Mika can lower the temperature and bring more right-wing conspiracy theorists into the MSNBC audience. Or maybe they will just lose more of the viewers they have left.

They probably won’t put Mike in the claw machine like Jimmy Kimmel did to him. Maybe Lindell with insist that they get in one before he agrees to a summit.
