Harris crushed it in her Town Hall today.

… Trump’s Town Hall last night with Kristi Noem was just bizarre. He stopped taking questions 32 minutes in after multiple people passed out because the building was too hot, then they played music while he weirdly stood on stage swaying. There is definitely something seriously wrong with him besides the fact that he is a dangerous malignant narcissist who wants to be an autocrat.

… Kamala Harris trolled Trump with a post after, saying that she hoped that he was OK after his obvious cognitive crisis. Her post had 8.6 million views and 124,000 likes after 10 hours.

… After this disaster, Trump made a bizarre stream of posts on Truth Social that began just after midnight and ended at 1:17 AM. He claimed that Kamala Harris’s medical records show she has a “deeply serious medical condition that impacts her functioning,” which are simply her seasonal allergies. He then claimed he is healthier than Obama or Harris but is too busy on the campaign trail to release his own medical records.

… just like he supposedly couldn’t release his tax returns because he was being audited.

… Jimmy Carter achieved his goal at age 100 of living long enough to vote for Kamala Harris as early voting began today in Georgia. No president in American history has had a greater post-presidency than Carter, who gave four decades of his life to selfless philanthropy and good deeds while largely staying out of partisan politics.

… Ted Cruz is debating Colin Allred tonight. Most polls show this race as a virtual tie heading down the stretch. Ted barely beat Beto in 2018, and Allred is a better candidate for a statewide race than O’Rourke. That was also before Ted flew to Cancun while everyone in his state was freezing with no power, and he falsely blamed the Uvalde mass shooting on a teacher who supposedly left a door unlocked.

… NC Republican nominee for Gov Mark Robinson filed a $50 million defamation lawsuit against CNN after their report that he called himself a “black Nazi” and frequented trans porn sites. Discovery should be fun.

… More MAGA lawsuits! 92 year old former AZ Sheriff Joe Arpaio just filed a defamation lawsuit against Kamala Harris. The lawsuit claims that her campaign social media account made a post in Spanish that was translated incorrectly by Google Translate to call him a “convicted felon” when he was only convicted of a misdemeanor. The campaign was criticizing Trump for praising Arpaio.

… If anything this sounds like he should be suing Google, but Arpaio is senile and nuts. Arpaio then accepted an invitation to discuss the lawsuit on Laura Loomer’s podcast.

… Olivia Nuzzi’s ex Ryan Lizza said in a court filing that RFK Jr told her during their sexting affair that he wanted to “possess,” “control,” and “impregnate” her. Who knows what’s true here, but it sure sounds like him.

… Trump had an event with the Economic Club of Chicago. He showed up 45 minutes late and he was a rambling mess. First question right out of the box was how Trump’s promises would add $7.5 trillion to the deficit. Low energy Trump claimed that tariffs would make up the shortcoming. Tarriffs wouldn’t even come close.

… Trump was pinned down on the disastrous effect of massive tariffs and how it could start a global trade war. Trump’s only response is that companies should just manufacture everything in the US and there won’t be a problem. Of course, countries around the world will retaliate by slapping tariffs and bans on US products, but brainless Trump doesn’t think about that. He think s the global economic system still works like it did in 1890.

… Perhaps Trump’s most disgusting answer (there were many) was when he said that any child can do the job of US autoworkers assembling Mercedes vehicles in the US because it’s so easy to do.

… Stephen Miller posted after Trump’s interview that it was “the greatest live interview any political leader has done on the economy in our lifetime.” Dimestore Goebbels laying it on thick for the Boss while angling for something higher up in the food chain of a possible second Trump Admin. He also has to justify the big bucks he’s bringing in from Elon Musk.

… Harris had a fantastic Town Hall with Charlamagne Tha God in Detroit where she hit on several key issues. She called Trump the F word (fascist) and hammered Trump for sending covid test machines to Putin at a time American hospitals needed them desperately. Charlamagne responded, “That doesn’t sound like America First.” Both the Harris and Trump campaigns are focused heavily on the Black male vote down the stretch. Good night for Harris in that regard.

… Trump is trying to pick up some votes from Black men since he is getting killed in the White women demo, which is the single largest voting bloc in the country. He is polling far lower with White women than he did in either 2020 or 2016.

… Harris said at the same event that when Trump demeans and insults people with personal attacks, and when he seeks the favor and approval of dictators, those things show that he is a weak and insecure man. Trump wants no part of this in a second debate.
