the finest generation is almost gone, as I was growing up, I felt they wrapped their families in a warm blanket, you knew nothing bad was going to happen. today, I fear for my grandchildren !

I’m remembering my late father who flew 25 missions over Germany in W W2 and hated fascism.

Thanks Ben, awesome of you to share that with us. Touching, real, and says it all about what Meidas and all of us are fighting for, right along with your Grandpa. Keep up the good fight, we are with you!

Many of us have similar stories of our family members who fought bravely in WWII. Both my parents served; Dad in the Army and injured during the Battle of the Bulge, Mom was a WAC..(the first women allowed in the military )as an assistant in a Physical therapy department. They met as my dad was rehabbing his shattered leg. He never fully recovered and died when I was 10. My mother lived to 97 and abhorred Trump being elected in 2016. Your story and channel provide hope our democracy will survive once again.

My father and my Dad (stepfather) were on ships during WWII, fighting for freedom from oppression. We will fight the good fight again, just as they did. Thank God they aren't here to see what happened to their America.

Great story, Ben! Thank you for sharing that! Your grandpa was a true American hero. His courage was exemplary. I can bet he would be very proud of you in your fight against fascism and for defending democracy!🇺🇸

I can see the resemblance in that picture! You came by your "fighter" genes honestly.

I had 2 uncles who were brothers that fought in WWII. Luckily they both came back home safely, but the trauma was a bit too overwhelming since they rarely spoke of it. However, they would be appauled at what is happening now.

Thank you so very much for your remembrance. I'm one of your older supporters, and I remember my father's experiences in WWII as he was part of the 2nd Armored Division. But I'm certain your Grandpa would be very proud of your bravery during this time of turmoil. Thank you for your service in this time of conflict.

As handsome as his grandsons!! All 3 my dad was in WWII but he was a cook not on the line or in combat but he would feed thousands of his fellow soldiers and that was his contribution. He did learn to use a weapon and was trained in other roles if needed Inhave his army Bible it fits in the pocket of his then uniform

You just reminded me of this when talking about your Grandpa. Ben you will never know how much you and the Network have done for those of his who are now part of the Resistance. I also feel something is about to happen. T and his klan committed acts of war (treason espionage) via computers. War doesn’t always use weapons. THEY USED Manipulation of computers.”oh I don’t need your vote just this one more time and you won’t need to worry about this anymore”

God bless Grandpa Murray 🙏🏽 May his memories live on in your heart forever. Thanks for sharing. My dad is a Vietnam vet. He did not try to weasel his way out by faking bone spurs or any other major health condition. He proudly and Honorably served his country.

My dad was a Sailor. He hardly ever spoke about the war. He too fought for Democracy. I'm an Old Fart These Days but it is hard to understand how so many Americans have not recognized that the fascists have been working to overthrow our government for at least 100 years. When they murdered JFK that was a coup de ta that has been in play for most of my incarnation this turn in the barrel. Thank you for what you are doing. Peace be with you. M.M.....

Thanks Ben...wow, Bret really resembles him! My Dad was not eligible for service due to physical/health restraints but he served proudly in the Democratic party and labor unions until his death in 2008! I remember canvassing with him from the time I was able to walk! 67 years later....your platform gives me hope that that patriotism and inspiring love of country is not lost! Thank you for all you're doing to promote and hold on to our democracy!💖🤍💙
