Legal AF host Michael Popok discusses allegations of voter fraud that have surfaced against Trump HHS nominee, anti-vaxxer RFK Jr., during the November 2024 elections. It turns out RFK Jr. voted in the state of New York while actually being a resident of California, according to a complaint filed with the New York Division of Election Law Enforcement by the public interest group Accountable.us. This ad-free experience is exclusively for subscribers of Meidas+.
RFK Jr.’s residence came up recently in court during a dispute about his ability to appear as a candidate for President of the United States on New York ballots. Legal records indicate that RFK Jr. used an address in Katonah, New York to claim residence in the state. However, the address he used belonged to a friend, and RFK Jr. had only briefly rented a bedroom while his permanent residence was in California. RFK Jr. reportedly used the Katonah address to vote in New York in November, despite it not qualifying as his legal residence, according to the Albany County Supreme Court.
Popok highlights the broader implications of this fraud claim, particularly as RFK Jr. awaits a confirmation hearing to head the Department of Health and Human Services. As an anti-vaxxer who has pushed for the the limitation of the polio vaccine, RFK Jr. is already a disastrous choice to lead the federal health department.
Now we can potentially add fraud and ethical complaints to the list of charges that should be brought against him in his Senate confirmation hearing, especially after Donald Trump made enforcing so-called election integrity so integral to his presidential campaign.
