… Donald Trump had a rally in Wisconsin today, where he has virtually no chance of winning. He bragged that he avoided paying overtime to any of his workers for decades, took credit for Obama’s Veteran’s Choice (which I used before Trump was president), and complained about flies that continue to torment him every rally buzzing around his hair-transplant combover. (Mike Pence’s revenge).
… Melania continued her streak of skipping every single campaign event for 4 years. But she dispelled any thoughts that she might be slightly less terrible than her husband, as she started her book tour on Fox with Maria Baritromo’s show saying that as First Lady she used to pray with and hand out food to disaster victims while nobody seems to care in the Biden Admin. The Trumps are all about the photo ops and lies while delivering zero substance.
… Elon Musk showed up at Trump’s rally in PA at the scene of the shooting incident. He took the stage in an obviously impaired state, as he jumped up and down and threw his hands in the air twice looking like the first guy cut from middle school cheerleading team tryouts. He had no speech prepared, so he just rambled for two minutes about election conspiracies before sashaying off stage thoroughly impressed with himself as usual.
… Ron Desantis sent a letter to media outlets who were running an ad in support of Florida’s abortion rights amendment threatening to prosecute them criminally if they continued to air the ad. He continues to use the power of the state and taxpayer money to do everything he can to defeat the amendment, but this is taking things to another level.
… Kamala Harris will appear on the Howard Stern Show live on Tuesday. Hillary Clinton said that one mistake she made in 2016 was that she refused to accept his invitation, which would have enabled her to reach an audience of men who don’t necessarily follow politics closely. She based that decision on Stern’s past misogyny, but said she should have put those feelings aside to reach a voter group that didn’t supporter her with a friendly interviewer.
… RNC NepoBaby Co-Chair Lara Trump was confronted on CNN today with a clip from Republican Senator Thom Tillis about her family’s lies that people in Georgia and North Carolina aren’t receiving federal aid. Lara said that Tillis was wrong because right-wingers on Twitter were saying that the feds weren’t helping and they know better than local Republican elected officials on the ground.
… Mike Johnson was asked on Meet the Press about Eric Trump’s claims that Democrats were behind two conspiracies to assassinate his father. Despite the fact that Johnson the Coward was shown a clip of Eric’s comments, he refused to answer the question unless he was played Eric’s entire interview.
… Tim Walz went on Fox’s Sunday show and did well, speaking directly to the only Fox viewers who are gettable - moderate Republican women who are upset with Trump over the abortion issue. His remarks on that issue were fantastic and presented a clear contrast on several women’s rights issues between the two campaigns.
… Trump’s friend and advisor Laura Loomer said that Marge Greene is the dumbest member of Congress, continuing their feud. Meanwhile, neither seems to be allowed now to get anywhere near Trump since the controversy over Loomer flying with him to the debate. Neither one has been seen at a Trump rally or in his orbit since.
… Actor Jon Voight put out another unhinged christian nationalist video today, where he said that America would “descend into darkness with criminals killing and stealing” if Harris was elected. He said he felt the need to do it since so many other Hollywood actors have recently released videos supporting Harris. No wonder his daughter
