That is exactly what he wants....for them to come to HIM and beg to make a deal with him, on his terms.

Isn't that blackmail? Threatening people to pledge allegiance? Just add that to treason, espionage, murder, kidnapping, rape, etc.

Yes it is. Extortion. But he thinks he can do anything he wants. We have to show him that he can't.

April 19th is the next "be there no excuses" nationwide protest. We are required within our civic duty and for our children (that is if in fact we are seriously motivated to capitulate the autocracy that has declared war on, WE THE PEOPLE and democracy and our Constitution) to represent nothing less than 3.5% of the overall population on that day.

Sign up. Show up. Bring two and ask each of them to bring two. Educate yourselves on "The 3.5% Solution" it is our only weapon but formidable and kryptonite to autocrats. Then educate others on the power of getting our numbers up to 3.5% and recruit, recruit, recruit, recruit, recruit!

4/5 was awesome with 1.5% or 5 million out there but we need to get that up to 3.5% at every single protest going forward. I'd like to get this all cleaned up by Christmas, anyone with me on that?

If so, we need to beat the drums. There is not enough time to build the level of resistance slowly and our enemies know it. Let' clean their clocks. Go to INDIVISIBLE and sign up to be directed to your local activist group; or google the cities around you linked to INDIVISIBLE and sign up.

I saw a post from a person who was involved in the protest in NYC and he spoke with a high ranking police officer about the crowd. The officer told him not to spread it around, but they only had something like 44 officers total at the enormous protest. They had no idea there would be so many people. But the officer was full of compliments for the crows, saying it was entirely peaceful and pretty amazing to watch. Protesters were also helping keep traffic away from the crowd. This is how we do it! No violence...just the overwhelming presence of millions of people who care enough to make their voices heard. As an old activist, it reminds me of the civil rights protests that were peaceful, yet so very effective.

YES!!!! Why oh why did Dems just ignore the many signs of a stolen election? Are they complicit somehow. Dems wanted to show the world how nice they could be. How they adhere to decorum and accept a loss graciously, not like the Repubs on Jan 6. Biden just welcomed the crook into the White House like it was a normal election and a normal president.

We’ll be called conspiracy theorists probably, but there are many knowledgeable people who agree with us. But what can we do.

How on earth could Trump get away with so much? Marine Le Pen got convicted and punished, even though she appealed. In US, Trump could steal dozens of boxes of classified information and store in his gaudy bathroom—IN PLAIN SIGHT AND NOTHING HAPPENS TO HIM!

Why did Merrick Garland delay the investigations? Why didn’t Robert Mueller prosecute with all the evidence he collected?

Something is very wrong with our justice system, obviously. And the Democratic party.

Unfortunately, per the Supreme Court, he is above the law. He is counting on this corrupt court to once again affirm him through the numerous lawsuits that have been filed against him that will eventually make their way to the court

Expand full comment

Yes of course he is.But the Supreme Court has a very small availability and can't hear everything. We'll have to see how far they're willing to go. Roberts and Barrett didn't back his side on a recent case. They may actually not be willing to see him as dictator.

Yes, I hope this will be the case. And yes, lawsuits do take time. Even then as we already see, trump administration is ignoring the rulings from appeals courts who've gone against him. I just remembered Robert's recent rebuke of trump without actually naming him. Appreciate your comments.

the reports say that over 100,000 people showed up today in NYC to protest. I went. HUGE crowd. we gathered in Bryant Park which is stretched from 6th avenue to almost 5th avenue between 42nd street and 40th. we were to march down 5th ave. I started walking towards 5th on 40th and it took over half an hour to go half a block there were so many people trying to merge. And yes, people are pissed. Lots of enthusiasm, lots of chanting and some great signs but the overall vibe was people are really angry.
