It’s Sunday. This has been a historic week. Get your cup of coffee, tea, or water, and let’s chat.
MeidasTouch has been on the front lines of reporting on people rising up at town halls against Trump, Musk, and MAGA politicians.
From Texas to Kansas, to Tennessee, and Long Island, we covered town halls in places that voted for Trump. People are pissed that their Medicaid is being cut, the services they rely on are being taken away, our economy is tanking fast, and Trump had the most humiliating Oval Office interaction in history when he and JD Vance behaved like petulant schoolyard bullies and yelled at President Zelenskyy before the worldwide media.
At a town hall in Hempstead, Long Island, which is a +5 Trump area, Democratic Congressman Tom Suozzi got a standing ovation from a packed crowd of more than a thousand people when he said: “I’m normally the guy who is about finding common ground, but there is no common ground I can find with how Trump and Vance behaved.” That crowd was made up of a lot of Republican voters.
People are sick of Trump already. This has been the most disastrous start to any presidency in American history. Last night, Elon Musk—who is running the country (into the ground)—posted on social media that the United States needs to leave NATO.
Whether Trump is an actual asset of Russia, a useful idiot, whether Putin has something on him, or if something else is going on, what’s clear is that every move Trump is making has one main beneficiary: Putin.
Look, I think 20-25 percent of MAGA will follow Trump no matter what he does. They will follow him to the end. They are so ingrained in the cult, it is beyond any sense of logic. But I do think a good portion of Trump voters can be peeled off—Trump and Musk’s own conduct can wake them up from the trance or complacency they were in if we just give a little nudge.
When I was a practicing lawyer, for cases involving “intentional infliction of emotional distress,” one of the tests to determine if the conduct at issue was sufficiently outrageous was whether it “shocks the conscience.” To a law student, the term “shocks the conscience” might seem a bit ambiguous and murky, but in the real world, when it happens, it is very clear what it looks like and what it is. Other than the oligarch billionaires, Trump and Musk have intentionally inflicted emotional distress on Americans (and, vicariously, on people in many other places in the world), and their behavior has absolutely shocked the conscience. It has shocked people into waking up from the rage algorithms that incarcerated their minds and reemerging into the real world.
The MeidasTouch Network is a catalyst in waking people up.
It’s a tug-of-war we play each day against the right-wing disinformation network that tries to keep its audience in a hypnotic trance.
It’s the truth- and evidence-based approach we espouse versus the fear-mongering and hate that is spewed by our adversaries.
Every day, every minute, every second, and every millisecond, an information war is taking place. We cede no ground, we cede no territory—we push forward, go on the offense, and ensure our framework and worldview prevail instead of existing within the contours of a right-wing hellscape and constantly playing defense.
In these trying times, I actually find hope and optimism in the existential nature of this all.
Trump and Musk clearly have a final solution. It’s not hidden by subterfuge or deception anymore. We can see it. It’s the evisceration of the United States, the obliteration of our democracy and freedom, and the exaltation of Russia and transnational oligarchs with technocratic fiefdoms. We now confront a binary choice. Does America survive? Yes or no. Trump and Musk want the answer to be no. We want the answer to be yes. I believe Americans, by and large, want the answer to be yes. So let’s not overcomplicate this as politicians and political pontificators often do.
Do we save our country or let it fall to Trump, Musk, and JD Vance? Because, you see, if we can stop what they are doing right here and right now, we don’t just secure a short-term win—I am confident we achieve a generational win.
That’s why each day, I think of my tasks in terms of both short-term execution and generational infrastructure building.
The MeidasTouch Network and the Meidas Mighty have the ability, the reach, and the wherewithal to get this done—not just for now, but for generations. I promise you this: If you continue to fight, we will get this done together, and we will get through this together.
Don’t let them rob you of your joy, your love, or your desire to leave this world a better place for future generations.
I am so honored to be in this fight with you.
I am proud of the achievements of the MeidasTouch Network becoming the most viewed and downloaded network, beating Fox and Joe Rogan, because I know that this result shows the work you put in is paying off. (Remember to add the MeidasTouch Podcast on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.)

Thank you so much for having coffee with me this morning.
Trump is treating the world as though it was him as a petulant child, getting back at the world for his perceived slights while clearly suffering from dementia. Musk is a full throated Nazi. I hope the American people wake up because if not now, when?
As Navalny said, "The only thing we should fear is that we will surrender our homeland to be plundered by a gang of liars, thieves, and hypocrites. That we will surrender without a fight, voluntarily, our own future and the future of our children."
