This Top Contributor Just Quit the LA Times Because of Their Trump Coverage…

Harry Litman left the LA Times after their billionaire owner kissed Trump's ring. Now, he's speaking out.

In a new video, MeidasTouch host Ben Meiselas interviews former federal prosecutor Harry Litman, who resigned as a senior legal columnist at the LA Times recently after the paper's billionaire owner overruled its editorial board's endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris and began shifting its coverage to be more Trump-friendly.

Despite the LA Times endorsing a candidate in every election since Barack Obama in 2008, and before that in every election from 1884 until 1972, Litman expresses that the decision to not endorse Harris was driven by the paper's shift away from upholding democratic values and truthful reporting.

Litman describes his departure as taking a stand against the capitulation of major institutions to autocratic influences. He highlights the role of independent media, like MeidasTouch, and Litman’s Talking Feds Substack Page, in providing honest pro-democracy reporting.

Litman also wrote about his decision on his new “Talking Feds” Substack. You can read his full reasoning for leaving the paper at the link below:
