We all knew Trump wouldn’t stop the Ukraine war within 24 hours as President Elect, we all know that Trump does not care about the working class and wages will not go up under Trump, we all know Trump wants to take an axe to health insurances like Medicare, Medicaid, VA, and ACA so many many millions will be without insurance, we all know the affects of deporting millions of undocumented workers who pay into SS and federal taxes to the tune of 98 billion a year yet do not or cannot collect from these programs and deporting 1 million of these immigrants will cost at the low end 89 billion a year never mind the tax revenue we will lose from those deported immigrants! And we now know some immigrants that help the rich get richer are okay but immigrants who actually help put food on our tables at cheaper prices are a no no! And last but not least we all know Republicans plan to push a reconciliation bill through after Jan 20th that will cut 2.5 out of the 4.2 trillion budget for mandatory spending which is effectively cutting 60% of Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, ACA, and VA benefits effectively wiping out the working class and transferring more wealth to the top 1% in addition to saddling the working class with 20% tariff taxes and 4 trillion in tax cuts for the top 1% and corporations who already received 4 trillion in tax cuts in 2017 off the backs of Americans and who infamously jacked prices up in 2022 during global inflation yet failed to lower prices in 2024 when inflation came down to 2.3%! So once again the top 1% wins! We the working class lose and MAGA doesn’t seem to care or if they do”owning the libs” is more important to them than living wages and being able to afford their mortgage and feed their families! It’s very sad!
And it's not just the tax revenue we lose but mot immigrants, documented or not spend all their money here in local economies (except that which they send home to care for family in a very Christian like act that really demonstrates family values)

For every trump campaign promise DEMS are holding Trump to account. Let’s see what MAGA says if trump refuses to sign those bills.

Mary, I live in Vermont where all three of our Congress Critters are Dem or Progressive (Bernie is an independent because there isn't a national Progressive party). While I do write them- always directly because, well, Vermont- I will start adding a note that I am speaking not only for myself but also for friends who do not have representation in Congress because their states are owned by Maga. I know one rep in the House doesn't sound like much, but if a bunch of us with blue reps add a coda like that to their letters, it shows we stand together, and we want our reps to remember that, Don't think this would work as well for calls and texts, which tend to be simply counted ledger style. But enough thoughtfully worded letters can help keep our concerns alive. Every tiny bit can help. So my promise to you and other friends stuck in red bubbles.

The staff he fired were senior employees with top salaries replaced by foreign workers getting paid less. So this is blanket truth about his lies. But it strikes me that when you put the focus on these attacks, you are distracted from covering the news we really need to hear from you, about what's going on in the larger attacks on our democracy. If we don't know what they are doing, we can't create a strategy to counter them. What kinds of actions would be effective if we didn't know what we needed to address? They are not only making verbal attacks against Meidas, but instigating a movement of attacks. The very fact that they are doing this is not only news, but intel - . In other words, insight on how well we are performing, and where the weak spots are. And it is a tool we can use. Without it, we could go about with blinders on and find ourselves in the wilderness.
